Mouneh
Where the name comes from
Every home we grew up in had a shelf. Olives in oil. Labneh rolled and jarred. Za'atar, pickles, honey. Made in season and kept for the year. That shelf is called mouneh. Muni is named after it.
We make our mouneh in house, jar it and sell it at the counter. The same jars go into the sandwiches and bowls.
